Lessons learned...

I was so close to having a clean driving record- only two more years to go- except that I decided to go to work today and that I was going to hate work today and then I didn't look where I was driving and crashed into a car and now it's going on my driving record, and I have to pay my insurance deductible, plus a ticket and go without a car for a couple of days while it gets repaired. Jackson said I should post a picture of my car, but it's too painful. After what a good car it has been to me- never giving me any trouble and this is how I repay it. Moral of the story-change your attitude about work and watch where you are going.

On a lighter note, thanks to Jackson we went to our first ward activity: trunk-or-treating. It only took us a year. I don't know if they will get my support next year...although we did get a lot of comments on our costumes- Jackson went as a Utah fan and I went as a BYU fan.... again, Jackson's idea. Go Utes!

Oh Rosie I'm so sorry! Believe me I know all about wanting clean driving records. It took years for mine to recover thanks to my reckless teenage years. I'm glad you are fine though. I really hate the fact that you get a ticket when you get in a car accident. It's just like adding salt to a wound!

Now we see why the temple missionaries should check the family blogs each day--rain or shine, early or late. :(
It's hard to say what we feel worst about--not offering sympathy about your poor car at the time or not getting a signal from Guardian Angel that we should call to see if anything was going on in your life that we should know about.
So sorry, dear.
How have things worked out for you? Are you feeling better?
We'll love to have more details.
